Where can we get tickets?
When will ticket sales open?
After Representative Group members are announced, they are each provided with a special promo code which enables them to gain special early access to online ticket sales at Ticketmaster. Those ticket sales will be open from 26 August. Ticket sales for schools and the public will open on 2 September. Tickets sell fast and last year we sold out very early on and some parents missed out. Please book your tickets as soon as you can.
Can all of a school’s families sit together?
Certainly they can. All that needs to happen is for the school to gather an accurate tally of the total number of tickets required, collect the payment for them, and then contact the Festival Business Manager, Miranda Donnell to arrange a group booking. The deadline for this is 25 August as tickets sell fast once they are on sale.
How will we know where to sit to see our children?
The Ticketmaster booking page will have venue plans showing approximately where the children will be seated for the Massed Choir for each performance so that parents can make an informed decision about where to book audience seats. For the best view, we recommend you sit on the opposite side of where your child is sitting.
Do schools get any free tickets?
All participating massed choir schools will receive two complimentary tickets. The school is free to use these as they feel fit, but the expectation is that they will allow the Principal and the Choir Teacher to attend a performance.
