From 2017, the Festival Association and schools will not be selling tickets directly as in previous years, but we will need schools to ensure that their families receive information about ticket sales and are encouraged to support their child by attending.
Where can we get tickets?
All tickets will be available for sale through Ticketek, either from:
- their website www.ticketek.co.nz
- the Ticketek Box Office at the Isaac Theatre Royal, Gloucester Street
- Ticketek agents. (see below)
Tickets will also be available directly from the ticket office at the Horncastle Arena on the day of the performance, if there are any still available.
How much do tickets cost?
When will ticket sales open?
Ticket sales for Representative Group members will open on June 26 while ticket sales for schools and the public will open on 24 July.
How will we know where to sit to see our children?
The Ticketek booking page will have venue plans showing approximately where the children will be seated for the Massed Choir for each performance so that parents can make an informed decision about where to book audience seats.
Do schools get any free tickets?
All participating schools will receive two complimentary tickets. The school is free to use these as they feel fit, but the expectation is that they will allow the Principal and the Choir Teacher to attend a performance.
